Data Lake Delivers Landmark 100 Schools Project, Reshaping Digital Education Across the Philippines

Data Lake Inc., the Philippines’ leading authorized Starlink integrator, has successfully connected 100 remote public schools nationwide to high-speed satellite internet, in collaboration with the Melco Resorts (Philippines) Foundation Corporation and the Department of Education (DepEd).
The ambitious initiative, dubbed the 100 Schools Project, marks one of the most technically sophisticated and transparently executed education connectivity programs in the country.
Using enterprise-grade Starlink High-Performance kits, gigabit routers, Omada access points, and structured cabling, Data Lake deployed robust internet infrastructure across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Demonstrating exceptional efficiency, 39 PISA-assessment schools were activated in just 17 days, highlighting Data Lake’s engineering excellence and nationwide logistics capability.
The impact has been immediate and measurable: 93% of teachers reported satisfaction with the new internet, 88% can now seamlessly access online learning platforms, and school-wide connectivity satisfaction has improved by 66%. Schools that once struggled with slow or unreliable connections can now conduct virtual classes, access DepEd resources, participate in online meetings, and support digital assessments without interruption.
Rural schools are now community digital hubs, and Data Lake’s end-to-end accountability sets a new standard for nationwide digital inclusion.
With unmatched capability and accountability, Data Lake has cemented its role as the Philippines’ leading force in high-performance satellite connectivity, delivering a landmark initiative that is reshaping digital education and strengthening communities nationwide.
