This initiative goes beyond simple connectivity; it is a masterclass in technical logistics and community empowerment, proving that with the right partnership, even the “last mile” is within reach.

THE HUMAN STORY: BRIDGING THE DIVIDE

For years, educators like Mr. Jessie Guyang, Principal of Tulgao West Integrated School in Kalinga, operated in a digital vacuum. “Before, we were disconnected,” Guyang shares. “Now, we are part of the DepEd digital world.

“These are not isolated anecdotes. They represent a verified “Journey Arc” documented by Data Lake’s impact assessment. Prior to this project, frustration with connectivity was the norm. Today, post-implementation data reveals a 93.4% satisfaction rate among teachers, with 88.7% reporting immediate access to essential online teaching tools and webinars that were previously impossible to load.

The deployment included Starlink High-Performance Kits paired with TP-Link Omada Gigabit VPN Routers and Outdoor Access Points, ensuring that the bandwidth clocking speeds up to 295 Mbps, effectively distributed across entire school campuses.

Demonstrating a commitment to long-term utility, Data Lake also executed 9 strategic site relocations during the project phase, moving equipment from dormant sites to active schools to ensure no resource went to waste, a move that underscores the project’s focus on audit-grade efficiency.
